Many days as I slide open the door to my studio, I think to myself, “Who gets to do this?” I make art, sometimes serious, sometimes fun, but often as a way of documenting things. I love color and flowers, fashion and the figure. I primarily begin with printmaking or drawing but consider myself an interdisciplinary artist. This consideration is mostly a way to give myself permission to explore the interaction of techniques, textures, and color as well as to evolve as an artist.
I consider myself a community builder and utilize my studio to bring others together and offer them opportunities to explore techniques and ideas, as well as to discuss life as an artist. I am so very excited to have become part of Lemon Street Gallery and share the space and community with so many talented and amazing artists.
