Mary Mollerskov
Art, as we know, provides expressive outlets of enjoyment, participation, and creation in its many forms. As a platform for peace, progress, acceptance and love, on person, one classroom, one gallery or theater, and one community at a time, and like a pebble in water as its effects ripple on. I am a strong supporter of art education in the schools.
My interests are varied starting with photography of nature and architecture, things large and small, and now including a love of pastels, inks, mixed media, painted glass, acrylics and watercolors. I am most happy using any of the mediums, and learning new ones. After a damaging accident many years ago bringing my teaching career to a premature close, art has been my solace, one place I can lose myself for periods of time, using a variety of tools and mediums. The journey is just as important to me as a product. I am most grateful for the great world of art friends I’ve found, and great activities we enjoy periodically together. Mary has been a Lemon Street Gallery member since 2010. |
