My paintings are done in acrylics, representational with some abstract and collage elements. They are inspired by folklore, mythology and fairy tales, but are not a direct representation of these sources.  My digital photographs often have the same themes.

I had some art classes in high school and college, but was mainly self- taught until two years ago when I started taking painting classes at the Lemon Street Gallery.  I feel I have thrived in the class environment at the Gallery and have grown tremendously in these last two years.
