I love photography because it speaks a shared language. Like any art I suppose. Music, painting , poetry, all of it. Someone once told me “It’s art because I say it is.” but I'm not so sure. I think real art has meaning that transcends self. Something unspeakable that is shared by more than one person. If this is true for you or not, you decide. For me it is.

Working as a photographer I try and please myself, of course. But to share an image with someone who finds something about it bigger than oneself, well that is really cool... and really art.
