Marilyn Sterling is as vibrant and colorful as her artwork. Marilyn expresses in her work the struggles and pain in her life with the ability to laugh at herself and brings that humor to her artwork. With titles like, “Me on Zoloft,” “Take Two and Call Me in the Morning,” and portraits of her bi-polar people she brings this amusing look at life in a way that the viewers can chuckle and relate themselves.
Marilyn was encouraged and convinced that she was an artist by her teacher and muse Sue Fremgren while attending the Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. Marilyn moved to Kenosha a few years ago and in a short time has become much appreciated supporter and participant in the art community.
