Jocelyn Rasor
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Fine Art & Design. Ever since, I love exploring new mediums. Sometimes I feel like watercolor, sometimes acrylic. Oil for special occasions, and wood burning to break up the monotony. Regardless of medium, my passion is painting pet portraits for charity. For years I have helped raise money for various pet rescues and non-profits.
Mental health and emotion are other topics I like to explore in my work. Whether it’s capturing the isolation of an episode of depression, or conveying love in a unique tone, I hope to continue my growth as an artist. It’s difficult for me to limit myself to a single theme for my career, so my portfolio is quite the array of topics, mediums, and styles. I enjoy working outside my comfort zone and expanding my repertoire. |
