To create, is a fundamental human urge, whether, cooking, sewing, gardening, building.  Watercolor painting is my creative outlet.

My paintings reflect my love of rich harmonious color.  I paint a variety of subjects, but my love of all things natural, keeps me going back to the landscape and still-life.  Vegetables, fruits, flowers, gardens, seasonal landscapes, birds are some of my favorite subjects.

Art helps the world.  It is therapeutic, a way for people to express emotions and soothe the soul.

Giving back to the community through art is one of my goals.  I donate as often as possible to public television and community help organizations.  I enjoy teaching  techniques to other watercolor painters.
