Artist Membership Requirements
  • Artist Statement – Talk about your artwork
  • Letter of Intent – Why you want to be a Lemon Street artist-member
  • Artist resume if available
  • Completed Application
  • Submit the above documents with 3-5 pieces of your artwork as you intend to exhibit it in the gallery. (This means artwork must be professionally presented – mounted, framed, etc. as appropriate for the medium.)
  • Be sure to have your name, address, phone number, media, and price on each piece.
  • Submit your work on any day during regular gallery hours. Wed thru Sunday, 11am – 6pm.
  • Management and current gallery members will review your work within one week.
  • All work is insured while in our possession.

  • Answer the following questions on another sheet of paper:

1.  Tell us about your inspirations and influences.
2.  If you've sold your artwork before, what sales channels have you used.
3.  How much time do you spend on your art now?
4.  How much work do you to exhibit?
5.  What is your average price point or range?
6.  How often do you sell pieces?

Upon Acceptance
  • $250.00/yr dues (Or quarterly installments of $75.00)
  • 10 hour volunteer commitment/yr
  • One year commitment
  • Commission to the gallery is 20% of the selling price.  Artist sets the price.
  • Sign a Consignment Agreement and complete a W9 form

Lemon Street Gallery is a creatively driven non-profit visual art organization
with a mission to provide quality visual arts education, sponsor and support cultural events,
and offer a juried forum for artists to exhibit and sell their work.
