It all started with a simple "Explorer's Class," make your very own hand-made paperweight.  My formal hot glass training was pretty informal and has and is still taking place at Hot Shop Glass in Racine, Wisconsin.  With a patient staff that love what they do, one year later, a few minor burns and more joy that I would ever have imagined I find myself an aspiring glass artist.

My current pieces are inspired by the colors that I see in nature, Lake Michigan at midnight, wild flowers, the summer Wisconsin sky, with shape and form being very function as well as beautiful. 

I see myself growing as a glass blower and an artist, exploring new techniques, new ways to use color and incorporate pattern and of course shape.
